As a solo-run salon, I wear many hats to keep things running smoothly. I truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping me maintain a balanced, burnout-free environment.

Bookings & Appointments
Contact & Appointments
Use the Book Online button for the quickest and most accurate way to secure your appointment. You’re also welcome to reach out via text, social media message, or the contact page.
Please note: phone calls won’t be answered during appointments or after hours.
Booking Rules
A $30 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. It will be deducted from your total at your visit.
If you need to reschedule with adequate notice, your deposit can be transferred to a new booking.
Cancellations at any time result in deposit forfeiture.
All appointments booked within 24 hours also require a non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations & Reschedules
Life happens — if something comes up, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
Changes with less than 24 hours’ notice incur a 50% fee of the booked service total.
A new deposit is required when rebooking after a late change or cancellation.

No Shows
Less than 1hr notice or failure to attend without notice results in a 100% service charge.
Early Arrivals
Please arrive on time — not early.
The salon has no waiting area, and I may be with another client, cleaning, or taking a short break.
Late Arrivals
If you’re running late, your service may need to be shortened (full fee still applies).
Arrivals more than 15 minutes late will be rescheduled and treated as a no-show (100% charge).
Kids & Guests
For safety and comfort, please avoid bringing children or extra guests unless arranged beforehand.
The salon is small, contains sharp tools and chemicals, and Luna the salon pup isn’t accustomed to children.

Comfort & Hygiene
Health & Hygiene
Your safety is a priority. All tools, towels, and equipment are cleaned and sanitised after every service.
If you’re unwell or have been contagious recently, please reschedule.
Accessibility & Adjustments
If you need any accommodations — sensory, mobility, or comfort — please reach out. I’ll always do my best to make your visit comfortable.
Service Quality & Responsibility
Liability Statement
All services are performed with care, professional products, and attention to detail.
It’s essential that you disclose your colour history, routines, allergies, sensitivities, medications, and past chemical treatments.
The salon cannot accept responsibility for reactions or results due to undisclosed information or not following aftercare
Corrections
If you’re not 100% happy, please contact me within 7 days and send clear photos in natural light.
When appropriate, adjustments will be made within 14 days of your original appointment.
Product Returns
Unopened and unused retail items may be returned.
Due to hygiene regulations, opened products cannot be accepted.
Privacy & Media
At booking, you can confirm whether you’re comfortable with photos or videos being taken and shared.

If you prefer anonymity, faces can be cropped or blurred — your privacy is always respected.
Promotions & Vouchers
Promotions
Occasional offers may be shared.
These apply to selected services for a limited time and may not be combined with gift vouchers unless stated.
Gift Cards & Vouchers
Valid for 12 months.
Non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
Environment & Respect
No Tolerance Policy
Vita Nova Hair Studio is a supportive, inclusive space.
Aggressive, intimidating, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.
Appointments may be cancelled and future bookings declined if behaviour breaches this standard.
